			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>The word &#8220;diet&#8221; should be banned from the English language!  It immediately brings to mind starvation and deprivation of the foods you love.  Dieting is usually a short-term way of eating that you cannot maintain even if you manage to reach your goal.</p>
<p>Here are some ways to lose weight without &#8220;dieting&#8221;:</p>
<p>Keep a food diary for two weeks.  Write down everything you eat, how much, when, and where.  Also note if you eat in response to an &#8220;emotional&#8221; trigger.  You will be amazed at what you discover when you review your journal.  It will be easy to identify ways you can improve your eating habits.</p>
<p>Drink an adequate amount of water, at least half a glass every hour.  This keeps your body hydrated and snacking under control.  Many times when we think we&#8217;re hungry, we&#8217;re actually thirsty.</p>
<p>Add some exercise to your daily routine.  This burns calories, increases your metabolism, and  makes you feel better.  It also strengthens your bones, tones up your muscles, and makes your heart stronger.</p>
<p>Be aware of how much you are eating.  Put your food on a plate, in proper portions, sit down at the table, and take pleasure in eating.  Don&#8217;t read or watch television.  This leads to overeating because you&#8217;re not aware of what you&#8217;re doing!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s important to not skip meals.  It&#8217;s easy in the morning to just grab a cup of coffee, but that will lead to major hunger about 10am.  Then you will hit the vendor machine at work and eat something full of fat and carbs.  By lunch time, your blood sugar has plummeted, so you head to your nearby fast food place.  This meal also is mainly fats and carbs, so by 3 pm you&#8217;re ready to snack again.  When it&#8217;s time to go home, you&#8217;re exhausted, and the thought of cooking a nice, healthy dinner just makes you groan.  So you pick up a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken, with potatoes and biscuits.  All because you skipped a decent breakfast!!!</p>
<p>Take the time to eat a decent breakfast with good proportions of protein and carbs and you will be set up for a day of healthy and controlled eating.</p>
<p>Vegetables should be a big part of your eating regime. They are fat-free, low in calories, and have fiber.  They will fill you up and give you minerals and vitamins your body needs to stay healthy.</p>
<p>If you get hungry between meals, have healthy foods available.  Fresh fruit, low fat cheese, a handful of almonds, all go a long way to satisfy hunger.</p>

<li><strong>Drink More Water</strong>-I have come to the clonlcusion that most people are dehydrated especially people overweight. If you really want to lose weight then build yourself up to drinking 3-4 liters of water a day</li>
<li><strong>Eat More Fiber</strong>-Increasing the amount of fiber you eat each is a great natural way to lose weight and keep those pounds off. Fiber naturally is our way of sweeping out stuff the body doesn&#8217;t need. Some estimates indicate that 10,000 years ago we use to eat upwards of 100 grams of fiber a day. So Challenge yourself to eat at least 30-35 grams of fiber everyday.</li>
<li><strong>Stop Eating Animal Products</strong>-Meats and dairy products are very inflammatory to our bodies and thus decrease how quickly we process nutrition.  Eating lots of fruits and vegetables gives us enough opportunity to get protein, carbs and fats into our diet.</li>
<li><strong>More Exercise</strong>-If you want <a href="htp://thedoctoristhin.com">weight loss</a> then you need to exercise more. Getting the body moving is probably the best way to increase metabolism and burn fat. What is really important about more exercise is changing the intensity that you exercise so that you create a good sweat for 30-40 minutes.</li>
